"We've had a hard time finding the balance the past few days. We hit on something this morning and afternoon that has made the car much better."

"We put a fresh engine in the car this morning. The last couple of days we've had a series of electrical problems that could have put us out of the race. We think we've solved them now, but we're still on a steep learning curve with our new engine program. We feel we're on the right track."
