Nissan Sentra

The Sentra is available in four models – the 1.8 and the 1.8 S, and two high performance models, the Sentra SE-R and Sentra SE-R Spec V, featuring a powerful 2.5-liter engine rated at 165 horsepower (SE-R) or 175 horsepower (SE-R Spec V).

Sentra continues to set the performance standard in the small car market with its 126-horsepower 16-valve DOHC 1.8-liter 4-cylinder engine. Also standard on 1.8 and 1.8 S models is a 5-speed manual, with optional 4-speed automatic transmission with overdrive.

Powering the Sentra SE-R is a 16-valve 2.5-liter DOHC 4-cylinder engine producing 175 horsepower @ 6,000 rpm and 180 lb-ft of torque @ 4,000 rpm in the SE-R Spec V model and 165 horsepower @ 6,000 rpm and 175 lb-ft of torque @ 4,000 rpm in the SE-R. Available SE-R transmissions include a responsive, close-ratio 6-speed manual transmission or a 4-speed electronically controlled automatic transmission with overdrive.
