MotorCareers and AutoTechs USA Join as Sponsors of Automotive Youth Educational Systems -- AYES

SAN DIEGO--May 23, 2001--Tony Radoci, president of MotorCareers Inc., has announced the company's sponsorship of Automotive Youth Educational Systems (AYES).
"Both MotorCareers/AutoTechs USA and AYES share the same goal -- the recruitment and career advancement of qualified employees in the automotive field. Our sponsorship of this effective organization was a natural alliance as our site visitors include high school students inquiring as to how they might pursue a career as an automotive technician, and we now channel those inquiries directly to AYES, along with those of other interested parties," Radoci said.
Through its "21st Century AYES" partners program, AYES also enjoys the support of a number of automotive-related companies, including SPX Corp., the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE), the Henry Primeaux Family Foundation and Snap-on Industrial. MotorCareers Inc. is the latest organization to join in sponsorship of AYES.
"AYES welcomes MotorCareers as a financial partner," said Donald Gray, AYES president. "We see many potential synergies, given that both our organizations are focused on the career development of automotive technicians."

    About AYES

Automotive Youth Educational Systems (AYES) is a nonprofit organization sponsored by 10 automotive manufacturers, the National Automobile Dealers Association, various state and metropolitan dealer associations, and numerous federal and state agencies. Currently affiliated with more than 215 secondary/tech prep schools in 36 states, AYES builds local partnerships between dealerships and the nearby schools offering high quality automotive service technology and collision repair/refinish programs. Working together, the schools and dealerships follow a well-structured plan designed to attract more young people into the field, and prepare them for entry-level positions in dealerships or to pursue postsecondary automotive studies.
