Gas Mileage Increase Average 10-15% With the New Automotive Device

    SANTA FE SPRINGS, Calif.--June 11, 2001--On June 14, Pursuit Technology will be holding their 7th annual equipment show at Knott's Berry Farm, Buena Park, Calif.
    One of the products being featured at the show is the TORNADO. This is the device that will not only improve performance on a vehicle, but it also increases fuel efficiency. Tests from the State Highway Patrol show on a 99 Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor that was averaging 19 MPG, that with the TORNADO it is now achieving 21 MPG, as well as improved acceleration.
    According to Tony Griego, President of Pursuit Technology, "I'll admit that I was quite skeptical at first about the TORNADO when I first met you. I agreed to test the unit in our 96 Chevy Impala with a 5.7 liter engine. The first test we did was a series of 0-60 runs timed by a `G-Tech' device. The 0-60 times were about 2-4 tenths quicker to 60 with the TORNADO installed. I was quite amazed but still a bit skeptical. I had my doubts so I did a mileage test. On a 76.5 mile test loop on the freeway we recorded 24.1 MPG without the TORNADO, 26.3 with the TORNADO installed. The fuel was filled to the `top of the neck' both times at the same gas pump and the same route and speeds were driven with and without the TORNADO. I am now truly convinced. The same test was repeated 3 weeks later with slightly better results, about 2.4 MPG increase. On the second test tire pressure were set at 35 PSI, (on the first test we did not check tire pressure) so now the vehicle recorded 24.3 MPG without the TORNADO installed and 26.7 with it. Truly amazing that a 4000 pound plus car could achieve that kind of mileage!
    In summary, over 2 tenths quicker to 60 miles per hour and over 2 miles per gallon improvement in fuel economy. I would recommend this device to anyone who would like an easy way to increase fuel mileage and performance."
