Chip Ganassi Racing Auction to benefit St. Jude Children's Research Hospital

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind.  (June 21, 2002) - Target Chip Ganassi Racing is
auctioning off two exclusive racing experiences on Ebay to benefit the St.
Jude Children's Research Hospital.  Starting June 19, fans have a chance to
bid on a CART and/or NASCAR "Once-in-a-Lifetime Racing Experience" on Ebay.


The CART and NASCAR racing experiences will be featured on the home page of
Ebay (www.ebay.com <http://www.ebay.com>) starting on June 19 and will end
June 29.  Proceeds from this auction will benefit St. Jude Children's
Research Hospital, a long-time partner of Target and Target Chip Ganassi
Racing.  Over the past five years, Target Chip Ganassi Racing has raised
nearly $250,000 for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital by donating $5,000
for each victory, $1,000 for each pole position and $25 for each lap lead in
the CART series.  So far this season, the team has donated $10,925 to Target
House and St. Jude.

The highest bidder for the NASCAR all-access racing weekend will enjoy
unique access to team drivers and team members during the UAW-GM Quality 500
at Lowe's Motor Speedway in Charlotte, North Carolina October 11 - 13, 2002.

The NASCAR Target Chip Ganassi Racing Experience will include two nights
accommodation (Friday, October 11th and Saturday, October 12th) at the
Hilton Charlotte University Place in Charlotte, North Carolina just 4 miles
from Lowe's Motor Speedway, two tickets per day (Friday, Saturday and
Sunday), the tickets will permit entry into Lowe's Motor Speedway with
reserved seating for race day, parking will be included, invitations for 2
to the Target Hospitality facility, the hospitality facility is enclosed in
the exclusive Hospitality Village, a meal will be served on race day,
personal autograph and photo session with Target Chip Ganassi Racing driver,
Jimmy Spencer, two Official Pit Crew Shirts, these shirts are worn by the
team members during the race weekend and carry the logos of all the
sponsors. The distribution of these shirts is very carefully controlled and
the shirts to be won as part of this auction are the only shirts that will
be issued this year to non-team members, the auction winner be given some of
the wheel nuts taken off the cars during pit stops, a personally guided tour
of the race team transporters and facilities, during the tour, the auction
winner and a companion will be shown the inner workings of the team
transporters and get a close look at the team working on the racecars, a
signed pair of gloves (used during the race) from Jimmy Spencer, the winner
will participate in pre-race ceremonies alongside the team members, this
includes being in the pits with the team during the driver introductions and
the National Anthem, a voucher for the rental of 2 scanners and headsets for
the weekend, a $100.00 Target Gift Card (redeemable at any Target store), a
$100 gift certificate, which is redeemable at the Action Performance/Target
Chip Ganassi Racing merchandise trailer during the race weekend.

unprecedented access to team drivers and team members during The 500,
presented by Toyota at the California Speedway on November 1st - 3rd, 2002.

shirts, a personal guided tour of the race team transporters and facilities,
winner and a companion will accompany the team to the grid during the
qualifying session on Saturday afternoon, a signed pair of gloves used
during the race from one of the Target Chip Ganassi Racing drivers, access
to the pit area during the race, winner will participate in pre-race
ceremonies alongside the team members, winner will operate the driver
