Mazda Recalling 38,173 Titan Trucks

TOKYO December 5, 2002; Dow Jones reports that Mazda Motor Corp. is recalling 38,173 Titan trucks for free repair of engine parts, the automaker said in a report to the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport on Thursday, Kyodo News reported.

The action follows fires in seven Titan trucks since March last year.

Subject to the recall are trucks made between February 1995 and October this year, Mazda said.
