Dodge Magnum SRT-8 Concept Unveiled In LA

LOS ANGELES - January 2, 2002 - With a roar, Chrysler Group President Dieter Zetsche debuts the Dodge Magnum SRT-8 Sports Tourer concept for media at the 2003 LA Auto Show today. 'The new shape of American Muscle, Dodge Magnum SRT-8 concept features a supercharged version of the all-new 5.7-liter HEMI(R) engine with the functionality and versatility of a sport utility vehicle,' according to Zetsche. The production version of Dodge Magnum SRT-8 will arrive in Dodge showrooms in 2004 and will incorporate key components from Mercedes-Benz.
