Nissan Recalling 3,627 Sunny Cars For Lamp Defect

TOKYO January 8, 2003; Dow Jones reported that Nissan Motor Co.is recalling 3,627 Sunny passenger cars for free repair of brake indicator lamps, the automaker said in a report to the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport on Wednesday, Kyodo News reported.

Subject to the recall are automatic transmission cars made between April and May 2002, Nissan said.

The lamps may not light up due to defective electric wiring, it said.
