    FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich., Jan. 24 -- Chrysler
Financial, a DaimlerChrysler Services business unit, announced today it has
launched a refreshed version of its Web site, http://www.chryslerfinancial.com .
With more than 9.9 million visits in 2002, the Web site has consistently seen
an increase in user traffic by offering an easy to navigate environment that
is packed with the features its customers want.
    Since Chrysler Financial began offering online billing in 2002, 86,000
customers have logged on and signed-up to receive their account statements
online.  During that same year the site processed more than 800,000 payments,
a 400 percent increase over 2001.  In addition, 26,211 credit applications
were approved or conditioned online which generated in excess of 2,500 new
contracts.
    According to Terry Wilson, Manager - Internet Technologies, "with the new
design we are able to create a stronger presence for our Chrysler Group
dealers.  By combining the strength of the Chrysler, Jeep(R) and Dodge brands,
the full range of financial services offered by Chrysler Financial and access
to dealership inventories, we provide our customers with a complete package."
    This new design also makes navigating the site even easier.  First time
visitors can expect one click access to the site's payment estimator, a
listing of current vehicle incentives based on the user's geographic region,
online credit applications and a dealership locator.  Current customers, who
log on to the site, can access account information, make payments online, view
statements online and link directly to their selling dealership to name just a
few of the conveniences offered.  Retail customers can now view their account
information anytime, anywhere by taking advantage of the new 24 hour a day, 7-
days a week access.
