5th Annual Bellflower Boulevard Car Show - 300 Custom Rods, Classics, Trucks and Harleys; Saturday - June 7th

    BELLFLOWER, Calif.--May 8, 2003--The City of Bellflower proudly presents the 5th annual Bellflower Boulevard Car Show, a spectacular display of custom rods, classics, trucks and Harleys, on Saturday, June 7, from 4:00 to 9:00 p.m. in Downtown Bellflower. Entries are still being accepted. Registration costs $10.00 at the gate and covers entry fees and a dash plaque. Applications for merchandise vendors are also available on a first-come, first-served basis.
    "Bellflower is steeped in custom-car history," said Rich Pierce, the City's Director of Parks and Recreation. "This event has become an important destination for car enthusiasts from throughout the region."
    The event, which draws nearly 10,000 visitors, will include music by the group Popular Demand, a wide range of food booths, raffle drawings for prizes and activities for the whole family. Parking and admission are free for non-exhibitors.
