Honda recalling 1300 cc motorbikes

TOKYO June 16, 2003; Japan Today reported that Honda Motor Co said Monday it is recalling 1,833 units of its CB1300 Super Four motorcycle for free repairs of defective electric wiring parts. Subject to the recall are bikes made between Jan 17 and June 2.

In a report submitted to the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, Honda said the 1300 cc motorbikes could come to a sudden halt or their brake lamps could fail as a result of a short circuit caused by defective coating of electric wires. (Kyodo News)
