31st Annual Denver Collector Car Show & Auction

Denver, CO-Staying true to current trends in the collector car market, muscle cars were the big winners at the 31st annual Denver Collector Car Show & Auction. The event, which was held at the Denver Merchandise Mart on August 18th & 19th, offered over 250 of the finest collector cars in the Central Mountain region.  

The top ten sellers at the Denver event included: 

	*	1968 Shelby Cobra GT500, sold for $45,845
	*	1958 Buick Century, sold for $31,535
	*	1989 Porsche 911, sold for $27,030
	*	1963 Chevrolet Impala Super Sport, sold for $27,878
	*	1966 Shelby Cobra replica, sold for $28,620
	*	1977 Ferrari 308 GTB, sold for $24,910
	*	1955 Chevrolet Bel Air Nomad, sold for $21,995
	*	1954 Buick Roadmaster, sold for $21,995
	*	1987 Chevrolet Corvette, sold for $19,080
	*	1969 Dodge Charger, sold for $18,020

The event was held by Kruse International, Vintage Gavel, and John and Eddie Soneff. Kruse International is the world's largest collector car sales organization, with over 600,000 people attending Kruse auctions on an annual basis.  

"Muscle cars have become one of the hottest segments of the collector car industry, and that was reflected in the results of our Denver event," said Stephanny Hartzell, vice president of public relations for Kruse International.  

"Quite a few of the top ten highest sales were muscle cars.  It's an important trend for collectors to be aware of, as we believe it is going to continue in years to come," Hartzell said.
