2004 Detroit Auto Show: Getting To and From

DETROIT, Jan. 8, 2004 -- Attendees to Public Days of the 2004 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) at Cobo Conference/Exhibition Center will find convenient and accessible parking and transportation downtown.

The NAIAS is working with Metro Networks and the City of Detroit to provide up-to-the-minute information on traffic patterns and available parking throughout the show.

"We are doing everything we can to make getting downtown as easy as possible," said NAIAS 2004 Senior Co-Chairman Chuck Fortinberry. "We are actively working with the City of Detroit and Metro Networks to keep lines of communication open in order to provide our guests with the most accurate travel information available."

The NAIAS Web site now features an interactive map of Detroit that includes all parking garages as well as driving directions. Attendees also should visit http://www.naias.com/ as well as check their local media outlets for traffic patterns and weather conditions before heading to the show.

The 2004 show will open to the public on Saturday, Jan. 10, and run through Monday, Jan. 19, 2004 (Martin Luther King, Jr. Day).
