Fleetwood's 2005 American Coach Line-Up Sets New Standard for Innovation and Technology

Over 50 Innovations Based on Customer Feedback Further Enhance Luxurious American Coach Models

RIVERSIDE, Calif., May 27 -- Fleetwood RV, the nation's leader in recreational vehicle sales, recently debuted 2005 American Eagle and American Tradition models.

"As the popularity of the RV lifestyle continues to enjoy strong growth, so does our need to offer our American Coach customers more luxurious options and improvements to further enhance their RVing experience," said Chris Braun, Senior Vice President for Fleetwood RV.

It was Fleetwood's drive to improve an already impressive product line that led to its most significant innovation, Fleetwood's Liberty Chassis, which debuted on the 2004 American Coach line. The result was a significantly smoother ride and increased slide-out and floor plan options. For 2005, Fleetwood once again listened to feedback from customers and dealers and added further enhancements to the Eagle and Tradition models.

"We put a tremendous amount of value in the feedback we receive from our customers and dealers," said Luc Van Herle, Director of Product Planning for Fleetwood RV. "They are passionate RV owners and operators and their experiences and suggestions weighed very heavily into the improvements found in our 2005 American Coach models."

Highlights from the more than 50 enhancements found on the 2005 American Eagle and Tradition include:

   -- A computer-programmed Universal Remote control with one-button
       operation of most A/V functions.
-- New graphics and decors applied with durable DuPont exterior body
paint, which provides unmatched detail and durability.
-- Goodyear G670-RV tires, the first tires specifically designed to meet
the highly specialized requirements of a Class A motor home.
-- Side-swinging compartment doors for improved access to luggage
       compartments.

"What has always impressed me about Fleetwood is their attentiveness to the input from us, the customers," said Debbie Hanson, owner of a 1999 American Dream, who recently previewed the 2005 American Coach models at an American Coach Association Rally in Palm Desert, CA. "That philosophy certainly shows in the 2005 American Coach models. They are truly top-of-the- line motor homes. Your customers are the best source for feedback on improvements and Fleetwood has always recognized and capitalized on that."

Fleetwood also recently delivered the first 2005 American Heritage motor home to professional racecar driver Ryan Newman. It is the first Class A motor home in the industry to feature a 600-horsepower engine.
