BMW 3 SERIES NAMED TO CAR AND DRIVER 10BEST LIST FOR 14TH CONSECUTIVE YEAR

Woodcliff Lake, NJ - December 10, 2004... The BMW 3 Series was named to Car and Driver magazine's list of 10Best cars for the 14th consecutive year, extending a record that is unmatched by any other car. For 2005 the 3 Series was named "Best Luxury Sport Sedan."

Noting the 14th consecutive appearance of the 3 Series, the Car and Driver editors wrote, "Few cars have inspired as much competition as this family of perennial segment pacesetters, and fewer still have resisted competition so successfully."

The all-new 5th generation BMW 3 Series will make its North American debut at the 2005 New York International Auto Show and goes on sale in the U.S. in spring of 2005.
