Howard Hughes' Buick Roadster At Auction

This 1953 Buick Roadmaster was the personal car of aviation genius Howard Hughes, which he drove until his seclusion. It is customized with aircraft electrical systems, a bacteria filter for the air conditioner and a plug to jump-start Hughes' own planes. It was sold shortly after his death and kept in original condition. The car will be at the Barrett-Jackson Classic Car Auction in Scottsdale, January 25 - 30, and auctioned off at the Barrett-Jackson Palm Beach Auction in March.
