All-New 2006 Dodge Magnum SRT8 and 2006 Dodge Viper SRT10 Coupe World Debuts

LOS ANGELES - January 5, 2005 - Eric Ridenour, Chrysler Group Executive Vice President, Product Development, debuts the all-new 2006 Dodge Magnum SRT8, top, and the all-new 2006 Dodge Viper SRT10 Coupe at the Los Angeles International Auto Show today. Dodge Magnum SRT8 features an SRT-tuned 425-horsepower, 6.1-liter HEMI(R) engine that launches Magnum SRT8 from 0-60 mph in the low five-second range and 0-100-0 mph in the mid 16-second range, with 60-0 mph braking in about 110 feet. The all-new 2006 Dodge Viper SRT10 Coupe is powered by a 505-cubic-inch V-10 engine that produces 500 horsepower and 525 lb.-ft. of torque. Dodge Viper SRT10 Coupe boasts 0-60 mph acceleration in less than four seconds and 0-100-0 mph in the low 12-second range. Dodge Viper SRT10 Coupe features all-new, unique and dramatic rear-end styling with wrap-around taillamps and a 'double bubble' fixed canopy. Dodge Magnum SRT8 will be available this summer, followed by Dodge Viper SRT10 Coupe in the fall.
