Thanks Dieter! Chrysler Firehouse Gives Back To Detroit

Detroit - January 10, 2005 - Chrysler Group President and CEO Dieter Zetsche rings the fire bell signaling another donation for the city of Detroit at the Chrysler Firehouse during press days at the North American International Auto Show. Detroit Police and Fire Departments received $25,000 checks and a smart vehicle from Chrysler during a brief ceremony. Fire Commissioner Tyrone Scott later told reporters "we are going to save lives with this (smart) vehicle" because it's size will allow us a better first-response capability in areas of the city.
