2005 Lowrider Magazine Tour Rolls into Phoenix this Sunday!

 

Thousands Convene at the Arizona State Fairgrounds to Celebrate
Lowriding with a Car Show, Hydraulics Competition, $10,000 in Prize
Money and Concert with N.O.R.E. and 

Local Phoenix Performers NB Ridaz

 

WHO:                 Thousands of lowrider aficionados and fans, the
musical group N.O.R.E., whose chart 

     topper "Oye Mi Canto" featuring Nina Sky is a hit on BET and MTV,
and home-grown 

     group NB Ridaz who will perform their hit single "Pretty Girl"

WHAT:

*         Hundreds of spectacular customized vehicles, some with paint
jobs in the form of complex story-telling murals 

*         Traditional lowriders and bombs-defined as 1955 and older-to
trucks, SUVs, luxury models, sport compacts, bicycles and tricycles

*         $10,000 Quaker State Championship Cup, awarded in October to
the overall points leader at the conclusion of the Lowrider Magazine
2005 Tour

*         Hydraulics competition (Hop) sponsored by CCE Hydraulics.
Owners and their vehicles compete in various categories of the
competition to see how high their cars and trucks can get. It's an
amazing feat as some may even land on their roofs 

*        A live concert featuring musical entertainment of headliners
N.O.R.E.  and NB Ridaz

 

WHEN:                Sunday, March 6, 11 a.m. - 5 p.m.

Phoenix, AZ

schemes and wild accessories

lowrider vehicles will be bouncing high up in

INFO:                   Spectator tickets for the Lowrider Magazine 2005
Tour go on sale on the day of show for $30 per person.  Children 10
years and under are free with a paying adult. A two-for-one discount is
available for military personnel and students with valid ID.  Show
vehicle pre-registration fee is $25.  Walk-up registration is available,
space permitting only, for $45. Hydraulic competitor registration fee is
