Honda to recall about 45,000 HR-V passenger cars

TOKYO March 27, 2005; Japan Today reported that Honda Motor Co. said it will recall for free repairs a total of 45,859 HR-V passenger cars to prevent their rear doors from opening while the cars are in motion.

In a report filed with the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, Honda said the HR-Vs in question were manufactured between July 1999 and March 2005. (Kyodo News)
