Fuji Heavy recalls Subarus in China
BEIJING July 19, 2005; Japan Today reported that Fuji Heavy Industries Ltd China is recalling 555 Subaru Legacy vehicles sold in China this year and last because of faulty doors, the company and a Chinese government agency said Tuesday.
The China office of the Japanese auto manufacturer is asking buyers of three Legacy models — BL9, BLE and BPE — to bring the station wagons into a Subaru repair and inspection station any time after Aug 1 to get the doors checked. (Kyodo News)
