Jorge Goeters brings the #32 Canel's / Scotiabank Inverlat Chevrolet

Home in 9th

Jorge Goeters and the Braun Racing crew made their NASCAR Busch Series debut
at historic Watkins Glen International this weekend. Jorge, a road course
ace, qualified the #32 Canel's / Scotiabank Inverlat Chevy in the 18th
position.

The start of the Zippo 200 at Watkins Glen was delayed due to a brief rain
shower on Saturday. The field started the race under caution before taking
the green flag on lap 18. While the majority of the teams opted to make
quick pit stops for a splash of fuel on lap 19, the #32 remained out on the
track to gain valuable track position.

It was not until lap 42, that Jorge brought the #32 Canel's / Scotiabank
Inverlat Chevrolet down pit road for four fresh tires, fuel and a slight
tire pressure adjustment to free the car up for the remainder of the race.
While Watkins Glen proved to be a learning experience for Jorge, he caught
on quick and ran his fastest lap of the day on lap 60.

"I tried to remain patient throughout the race, the goal was to run a clean
race and gain some experience," said Goeters. "The more laps I ran, the
more comfortable I became with the racetrack and car. Running the Grand Am
race the night before really paid off," Goeters stated.

During the 82-lap race, Goeters climbed steadily through the field, breaking
into the Top 10 by Lap 60 . Over the final 22 laps Goeters ran as high as
ninth and was able to maintain that track position to bring the #32 Canel's
/ Scotiabank Inverlat Chevy across the finish line in 9th place. The top 10
finish at Watkins Glen was the 5th one for Braun Racing this year.

"I am honored and thankful that I was able to drive for Braun Racing this
weekend. While I am pleased with a top 10 performance, I would have loved to
been up front contending for the win," said Goeters.

Braun Racing and driver Jason Leffler will look to build on this week's
performance when the NASCAR Busch Series visits Michigan International
Speedway in this weekend's Domino's Pizza 250. The race will be televised
live Saturday, August 20th at 3:00 PM eastern time on TNT and will broadcast
nationally at that same time on radio stations affiliated with Motor Racing
Network (MRN) and XM Satellite Radio.
