Jaguar North America Donates Proceeds of Its Collection Sales to the Jaguar Conservation Trust

IRVINE, Calif., Oct. 19, 2005 -- Jaguar North America further demonstrates its commitment to jaguar conservation by donating a portion of its proceeds from the sale of select items in its 2006 Jaguar Collection. Evigna, Jaguar's supplier partner for the Jaguar Collection, will also donate a portion of its proceeds to the Jaguar Conservation Trust.

The Jaguar Collection offers men's and women's premium apparel, executive gifts, toys and collectibles, and travel accessories. Jaguar North America has designated three high volume items for this campaign. The items benefiting the Jaguar Conservation Trust include the small jaguar plush cat (retail $15.00), the Jaguar basic tee (retail $15.00) and the silver cap (retail $20.00). The items are identified by a Jaguar Conservation Trust icon next to the item in the catalogue, as well as a hang tag on the item. Jaguar will donate seven percent and Evigna five percent of its proceeds on these items. Customers can purchase these items from the Jaguar Collection by logging on to http://jaguarusa.com/collection , or by calling 800-842-6920.

"We are always looking for innovative ways to give back to our namesake," said CJ O'Donnell, executive vice president of marketing and sales for Jaguar North America. "Donating a portion of the proceeds illustrates our commitment to the jaguar and provides consumers an opportunity to make an impact on conservation with their purchases."

In 2003, Jaguar North America created the Jaguar Conservation Trust, a grass roots program that protects the company's namesake. The objective of the Trust is to support conservationists in their efforts to preserve, protect and propagate the jaguar, in the wild as well as in captivity. To date, Jaguar North America has granted over $50,000 to support this objective in Guatemala, Costa Rica and Belize -- all native regions for the cat.

From its beginning as a manufacturer of motorcycle sidecars in 1922, Jaguar has grown to become one of the world's premier manufacturers of luxury sedans and sports cars and with that, one of the most recognized commercial brands. The company's vision is simple: To produce beautiful fast cars that are desired the world over. The company operates three manufacturing plants in the United Kingdom and is fully engaged in environmental programs, community work and brand awareness exercises such as motor sport.
