Vincentric Announces On-Line Dealer Tool; Helps Dealers Respond to Buyers Focused on Price

ORLANDO, Florida – February 10, 2006 – Vincentric announced the launch of Vinbase Online for Dealers™ today at the National Association of Automobile Dealers (NADA) conference. Vinbase Online for Dealers™ is a new web-based tool that uses automotive cost-of-ownership data to help dealers profitably move conversations with buyers from “price based” to “value based”. As part of the NADA product launch, Vincentric is offering a 20% discount to dealers.

“A value price is not necessarily a low price,” stated David Wurster, President of Vincentric. “Consumers typically think that buying a vehicle with the lowest price is the best financial decision for them, when often it is not. Vinbase Online for Dealers measures the total cost-of-ownership, which helps dealers identify their high-value vehicles. These models may have a higher purchase price than a competitive vehicle, but actually cost less to own and operate. This enables the dealership to help consumers save money in the long run while not resorting to discounts.”

Each month Vincentric measures the cost to own and operate over 1,900 vehicle configurations. Eight different cost factors are calculated to determine overall cost-of-ownership: depreciation, fuel, insurance, opportunity cost, financing, maintenance, taxes and state fees, and repairs. The result is over 9,500,000 cost-of-ownership measurements, segmented at both the national and state level.

Subscribers to Vinbase Online for Dealers can access cost-of-ownership information that is updated monthly to quickly compare all vehicles and identify when their vehicles have cost-of-ownership advantages over competitive products. This helps dealerships increase sales, while also increasing the profit on each sale.

Vinbase Online for Dealers can be used by many different members of the dealer staff:

- The Salesperson – as a resource to help overcome price objections.

- The Sales Manager – to help sales teams close sales and learn new competitive advantages for the store’s brands.

- The F&I Manager – to create higher close rates by moving the conversation away from price to a focus on overall value.

- The Fleet Manager – to access fleet-specific lifecycle costs to determine whether this approach helps build a case for the store’s product line.

- The General Manager – to increase profits by providing a tool that can help move the sales conversation away from price.

Special NADA pricing of $39.95 per month to access Vinbase Online for Dealers can be obtained by ordering from the Vincentric web site (www.vincentric.com) and entering promotion code 3924. Further discounting is available with an annual subscription.
