U.S. Army Garrison-Michigan and Wolverine Harley-Davidson Present Fourth Annual Ride for Freedom Event on June 25

SELFRIDGE ANGB, Mich., June 19 -- The U.S. Army Garrison- Michigan has again teamed up with Clinton Township, Mich.-based Wolverine Harley-Davidson for the Fourth Annual Ride for Freedom, Support Our Troops motorcycle ride to benefit the quality of life and well-being of the Selfridge Joint Military Community. The police- and military-escorted motorcycle ride will depart Wolverine Harley-Davidson on Sunday, June 25 at 11:30 a.m. This year's ride will be led by Major General William M. Lenaers, commander of the U.S. Army TACOM Life Cycle Management Command, and Lieutenant Colonel Kevin J. Austin, commander of the U.S. Army Garrison-Michigan.

The event kicks off at 9 a.m. with a continental breakfast and music at Wolverine Harley-Davidson (44600 North Gratiot Ave.). The 60-mile scenic ride departs at 11:30 a.m. (rain or shine) through Macomb County and will end at the historical Detroit Tank Arsenal (11 Mile and Van Dyke in Warren, Mich.). All attendees will be treated to refreshments, food and live music. All riders and motorcycle enthusiasts are encouraged to attend and show their support.
