Subaru Honored by American Red Cross

Washington DC July 6, 2006; The AIADA newsletter reported that Subaru of America was honored with the American Red Cross Circle of Humanitarians award for its contributions for hurricane and tsunami relief.
Subaru of America and its employees donated $1 million to these relief efforts. Subaru has also donated on the local level near its U.S. headquarters in Cherry Hill, N.J. The automaker has given two new Subaru B9 Tribeca SUVs to the Camden County, N.J. Red Cross chapter, and hosts blood drives and special giving campaigns for relief efforts.
Recipients of the Circle of Humanitarians awards were selected based on their extraordinary generosity to the American Red Cross' programs and services.
