NASCAR NEXTEL CUP SERIES CREW MEMBER PUT ON INDEFINITE SUSPENSION AND FINED FOR RULE VIOLATION AT TEXAS

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (Nov. 7, 2006) – NASCAR announced today that Craig Curione, a crew member for the No. 10 Dodge team, has been suspended indefinitely from NASCAR and fined $10,000 for a rule violation he committed following last Sunday’s race at Texas Motor Speedway. The action resulted from violation of Section 12-4-A (actions detrimental to stock car racing; involved in an altercation with another Competitor) of the 2006 NASCAR Rule book.
