2007 Detroit Auto Show : DPM Auto Show Hours Reminder!

DETROIT, Jan. 4, 2007 -- The Detroit People Mover has announced the following extended hours for the 2007 North American International Auto Show, as follows:

  Press Days
  Sunday, Jan. 7                                      6:30 AM -  Midnight

  Public Days
  Saturday, Jan. 13                                   7:00 AM - 2:00 AM
  Sunday, Jan. 14                                     7:00 AM - Midnight
  Saturday, Jan. 20                                   7:00 AM - 2:00 AM
  Sunday, Jan. 21                                     7:00 AM - Midnight

On all other days during the show period, The People Mover will operate on its normal schedule: Monday through Thursday, 6:30 AM - Midnight, and Friday, 6:30 AM - 2:00 AM.

Rides from any of the 13 People Mover stations are 50 cents per passenger, payable in any combination of U.S. nickels, dimes or quarters, or with a token that can be purchased at all stations. Children five and under ride free. Handicapped access is currently available at all stations except Grand Circus Park, which has stairway access only. Passengers needing an elevator or escalator should board at either the Broadway or Times Square Stations.
