VW China Car Recall

The General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine (AQSIQ) said that the recalled cars were produced between Jan 22 and July 5 of last year. Up to now no injuries tied to this flaw have been reported.
Owners of all affected vehicles are being notified by letter, and asked to go to any authorized Peugeot dealership where their vehicle will have a heat exchanger and torque converter to be replaced.
In a separate report, around 2,240 Passat GP produced by Shanghai VW is being recalled starting yesterday because of faulty control key of the luggage compartment that may lead to property losses, AQSIQ said. The affected models were produced between August 11 and August 24 this year.
