SAN FRANCISCO April 9, 2008;SuperCarDirect.com announced that it will receive 400,000 automotive listings daily through an alliance with the Dealix Corporation, a deal it said would enable the fast-growing free car classified website to gain more ground on Craigslist.

“This alliance makes SuperCarDirect.com the nation’s second largest free car classified site and gives buyers an enormous inventory to choose from,” company founder John Sweeney said, noting that vehicles available through the Dealix network of auto dealers will be updated nightly.

“SuperCarDirect.com is steadily gaining market share and we are confident that the Dealix alliance will enable us to gain even more ground on Craigslist. It’s clear that the future of car classifieds is free sites, meaning that companies that charge sellers to list their vehicles are going to be pushed out of business. Our site is clean and uncluttered, with only one advertiser, which keeps the focus on serving the customer.”

SuperCarDirect.com lets sellers list as many vehicles as they want, complete with contact info, Google maps, vehicle description and up to 20 photos for each listing. Listings are free and can be renewed every 60 days.

“SuperCarDirect.com offers average working-class Americans a free way to list their cars or trucks, with a category for every make and model no matter what the price,” Sweeney said. “With money tight, and most used cars sold for between $5,000 and $15,000, sellers can’t afford to pay fees and add-on charges. Tough economic times call for innovative responses, and that’s what we’re all about. We fully expect SuperCarDirect.com to be the Number One car classified site by the end of the year.”
