For four full days, more than 2,000 attendees to the Alternative Fuels & Vehicles Conference had the opportunity to learn, share and participate in an exchange of ideas and information that examined nearly every aspect of the alternative fuel and vehicle issue.

The event took place May 11-14 at the Rio Hotel and Conference Center in Las Vegas. Activities included workshops, sessions, a Ride-n-Drive, free public day, and exposition. The tradeshow featured over 100 exhibitors, displaying products and services available for purchase and use today. Attendees saw cutting-edge vehicles and technologies from exhibitors with real-world application experience.

In total, there were 27 multi-speaker panel sessions, 14 keynote speakers, 14 technology showcase presentations and a great poolside kickoff party, hosted by General Motors.

In addition, AFVi has made pdf versions of most of the presentations available on their website at www.afvi.org/NationalConference2008. Information about future AFVi events, including their 2009 National Conference & Expo at Disney World can also be found at the AFVi website.
