DEARBORN, Mich., July 17 -- On Wednesday, July 23, nearly 50 members of AAA Michigan's executive leadership team will assemble at Gleaners Community Food Bank of Southeastern Michigan to help package food and provide gardening and clean-up services.

As part of their "day of service", the group of AAA vice presidents, district managers, and directors will be welcomed by Gleaners President DeWayne Wells and receive a tour of the facility. At 8:35 a.m. they will move to their work zones and begin their volunteer duties. Work will continue until 12:30 p.m. Gleaners is located at 2131 Beaufait St. in Detroit.

"It's important for us to step out from behind our desks and remember we can, and should, work as a team in our communities," said Marti Parks, Vice President of Michigan Branch Operations. "We're proud of our history of volunteer service at AAA, and this is just one more way to demonstrate that commitment. We want to stress these core corporate values in the communities where our members live and work."
