Chicago, IL August 22, 2008 - On Saturday, August 23 at 7:30am Pacific Time, a caravan of hydrogen vehicles will roll into the SunLine Transit terminal in Thousand Palms California on their last stop of a two-week cross-country tour. Sponsored in part by the U.S. Departments of Energy and Transportation, the 2008 Hydrogen Road Tour event is showcasing hydrogen technology and infrastructure in America. The event at Thousand Palms will feature a talk by Paul Brubaker of the Department of Energy.

The Hydrogen Road Tour began on August 11, 2008 in Portland, Maine. Thousand Palms, California is the last stop before the tour ends in Los Angeles.

"The Hydrogen Road Tour celebrates the arrival of hydrogen as an integral part of the U.S. energy mix," said Bob Gray, CEO, Eden Hydrogen. "Our HyRadix reformers have been producing hydrogen for SunLine in Thousand Palms for years and demonstration projects have also featured Hythane(r), our patented blend of hydrogen and natural gas"

Hydrogen produced by Eden's reformers is currently being used to fuel Sunline's fuel cell and HICE buses.
