LETTER FROM RACER'S EXPO

Reno, NV. October 15, 2008

Dear Friends,

This is a letter I never envisioned writing, but I've had to make the unfortunate decision to postpone Racer's Expo until next year.

As you know, Expo Events has been promoting this show since February, and while the momentum has been steadily growing, I can't risk my reputation by producing a show that doesn't meet your (over 8500 of you have signed up to date - thank you for your support) expectations.

I did not embark on this project without a substantial amount of research. We posed the question to every potential vendor we encountered: "Do you think Racer's Expo is viable, and would you have an interest in participating, should we decide to move forward with it?" The response was 90% positive, which was as strong an indicator as I've ever experienced in my many years of producing and promoting events.

We were well aware of most of the objections we would hear, but because Racer's Expo is, by design, so uniquely different from any other show in our industry, we were confident that manufacturers and retailers would recognize its value, and verbally they did. But the contracts and deposits have not been consistent with that. Perhaps it's a direct result of the current state of our economy. We will use the coming year to develop the concept and let it mature.

You (as a racer, crew, mechanic, and enthusiast) are our target attendee and we want to provide you the finest expo in the nation. Racer's Expo will take place in 2009 - stay tuned for details. Check out our website at racersexpo.com for updates and to sign up for our email newsletter.

Best Personal Regards,

Miki Cohen, President Expo Events Racer's Expo, LLC
