United Components to Release Third Quarter 2008 Earnings

EVANSVILLE, Ind. October 20, 2008: United Components, Inc. will report financial results for the third quarter of 2008 on Wednesday November 12, 2008. Following the earnings release, the Company will conduct its quarterly conference call for investors and other interested parties on Thursday November 13, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. Eastern Time.

Bruce Zorich, president and chief executive officer, and Dan Johnston, chief financial officer, will discuss the Company’s third quarter results and its business outlook.
