No Bling at L.A. Auto Show

I'm at the LA Auto Show, which used to be sexy and exciting. This year it's more like a dentists convention in Cleveland. Actually, that's not fair to dentists or Cleveland. They're better than this.

Gone is a lot of the pulsing music, scantily clad models, and flashing lights. In fact, there are no lights at all over at the Chrysler display, just fluorescents shining down from the ceiling at the Los Angeles Convention Center. Word is, Chrysler isn't paying to be here, its dealers are. "It sucks," one told me.
