SACRAMENTO, Calif. November 24, 2008: Golden State Collision Centers, Inc. will present rehabilitated vehicles to in-need families during its “Giving Back to the Community Benevolence Event” at 10:30 a.m., December 16, 2008, at the Golden State Collision Center, 7407 Roseville Road, Sacramento.

The only one of its kind in the collision industry, the Golden State Collision Centers “Giving Back to the Community Benevolence Event” was kicked off last year with the award of a restored 1998 Nissan Maxima to a single mother from Lincoln. This year, in conjunction with the Francis House of Sacramento, California, two vehicles will be presented.

“Each year, we come across cars that are written off by either the owner or the insurance company. Often these older vehicles are simply in need of mechanical or body work to get them road-ready and safe to drive. Golden State believes that these cars are going to waste when there are people who really need them, and that is the basis of this annual program,” said Dave Finkelstein, owner of Golden State Collision Centers, Inc. “We are delighted to be able to increase our donation to two vehicles this year, thanks to contributions from California State Automobile Association and TowPro Tow and Transport.”

Local vendors of the Roseville Auto Mall, Enterprise Rent-A-Car and employees of Golden State Collision Centers, Inc. donated their time and services as part of this program. About Golden State Collision Centers, Inc.
