Geneva - February 27, 2009: Reuters reported that the annual Geneva Motor Show opens to the media on Tuesday, March 3 and to the public on Thursday, March 5.

Despite the industry crisis carmakers are going ahead with new model launches, although a strong focus is expected to be put on emissions-reducing technologies.

The industry will present 85 new passenger car models in world or European premieres, the show's organisers said. Below are some of them:
