Kia Motors America Announces February 2009 Sales

Company Records Sales Increase

IRVINE, Calif., March 3, 2009: Kia Motors America (KMA) today announced February sales of 22,073 units - an increase of 0.4 percent over February of 2008, and year-to-date sales of 44,169 total units. February sales were led by Sorento and Sedona, both posting significant increases over the same period last year.

"As auto sales continue to be affected by the economy, families still need value laden vehicles like the Kia Sorento and Sedona that are nicely packaged for comfort and offer practicality and safety features at a price point within their budgets," said Michael Sprague, vice president of marketing, KMA.

2009 Product Line
