Miami, FL March 4, 2009: The exclusive North American importer of the Carlsson brand, GGI European Tuning, announces the release of a brand new Carlsson wheel design exclusively for Mercedes automobiles. Carlsson has improved the successful Carlsson Design 1/5 and now presents the one-piece cast aluminum 1/5 Evo DS.

With the new DS (Dark Series) finish, Carlsson follows the two-tone trend utilizing black as the contrast color for a sharp, clean look. The 1/5 Evo DS impresses with its shiny black lacquer and glazed silver finish. Without a clearly defined outer rim, the five spokes extend all the way to the edge of the wheel, giving the appearance of a much larger size. The beautifully designed indentations flowing down the five spokes in shiny black giving the illusion of empty space. The interplay between the silver surface, the shiny black lacquer and the outer rim design make the 1/5 Evo DS truly unique.

The Carlsson 1/5 Evo DS light alloy wheel is available in 21” x 9” and 21” x 10.5” for the Mercedes S-class, CL-coupé and GLK-class models.
