DETROIT - April 24, 2009: Toyota, Ford and GM have all rolled out new models of the once-popular station wagon, and the wagon may be on the road to a stateside comeback. The re-vamped versions are a unique mix between a sedan and an SUV; combing functionality, utility and often better fuel economy. In addition, the wood paneling and boxy bodies of the past have been replaced with sleek and sporty designs. Cadillac hopes to help break the station wagon stereotype by offering its first addition to the US wagon segment - the CTS Sports Wagon.
