WHAT: Great Designs in Steel - hosted by the Automotive Applications Council of American Iron and Steel Institute's Steel Market Development Institute (SMDI) - is the premier forum for the latest trends and applications in automotive steel technologies. This year's program will feature more than 25 technical presentations given by various North American automotive and steel industry experts regarding key auto industry issues - such as cost, fuel savings, improved safety, recyclability and life-cycle emissions - and how advanced steel technologies are addressing them today.
