MD Johnson Inc Advises Don Reichert on the Sale of Reichert Nissan to Tom Barros. Renames Dealership Town Nissan

WENATCHEE, Wash., May 28, 2009 -- MD Johnson Inc has completed the sale of Reichert Nissan to Mr. Thomas Barros in Wenatchee, Washington. The dealership will remain at its current location for the near term and has been renamed Town Nissan. Barros also owns Toyota, Ford, Chrysler and Dodge dealerships in Wenatchee.

Reichert purchased the dealership in 1969 when it was still Datsun and operated the dealership until 1980 when he hired Barros as the general manager. Reichert and Barros were also partners in the Toyota dealership now owned solely by Barros. Mark Topping, VP of MD Johnson Inc advised Reichert on the transaction on behalf of MD Johnson Inc.

Reichert and Barros are both active in the community and have held various positions in dealership organizations and associations. Mark Johnson, President of MD Johnson Inc, commented that "Mr. Reichert and Mr. Barros have a long history together in the community and our firm was delighted to have Mark Topping execute this transaction. Nissan will be a great addition to the platform that Mr. Barros has built and the sale gives Mr. Reichert the opportunity to pursue other interests after owning this dealership for 30 years." No sales price was disclosed.
