Research and Markets: China Listed Car Companies Report, 2008-2009 - Order Now

DUBLIN--Research and Markets has announced the addition of the "China Listed Car Companies Report, 2008-2009" to their offering.

This reports focuses on the 21 key car manufacturers in China and their market performance, operations, project investment, business structure and development strategies.

In March 2009, Chinese car output was 1.09 million, up 35.59% from February, and up 5.55% compared to March 2008; moreover, 1.11 million cars were sold, up 34.1% from February, and up 5.01% compared to March 2008. Accumulative car sales were 2.67 million in the first quarter of 2009, up 3.88% compared to the same period of 2008.

In the first quarter of 2009 only crossover passenger cars and trucks exceeded the average growth, and MPV, commercial cars and semi-trailers were still in depression. In addition, the growth of trucks was mainly attributed by mini-trucks.

In March 2009, sales of passenger cars and commercial cars were 772,300 (increased by 10.26% compared to March 2008) and 337,400 (decreased by 5.29% compared to March 2008). During the period of January-March 2009, passenger car sales increased by 7.8% compared to the same period of 2008, but the sales of commercial cars declined by 6.1%.
