CarMax Reveals Top Searched Used Vehicles for 2009

RICHMOND, Va.--CarMax, Inc. the nation’s largest retailer of used cars, reports the top ten searched used vehicles on carmax.com for 2009. The Honda Accord retains the top spot for the fourth consecutive year. For the past year, carmax.com averaged more than 5.5 million visits per month.*

The 2010 and 2009 2008-1997Jeep Wrangler and Chevy Silverado are new to the list this year, the remaining top searched used vehicles on carmax.com for 2009 are:

  1. Honda Accord
  2. Ford F-150
  3. Chevrolet Tahoe
  4. Ford Mustang
  5. Toyota Camry
  6. Honda Civic
  7. Jeep Wrangler
  8. Toyota Tacoma
  9. Nissan Altima
  10. Chevrolet Silverado 1500

The CarMax website can also be used to research information on vehicles of various makes and models. The website showcases vehicles with multiple photos, the no-haggle price, and information on features, options, fuel economy and customer reviews.
