-- Focusing on Fuel Efficient Technologies --

SOUTHFIELD, Mich., Jan. 5 -- DENSO Corporation will exhibit on the main floor at the 2010 North American Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit, Mich., from Jan 11 - 24. The company will display its latest technological developments that help improve fuel efficiency and energy management, as well as some of its safety and convenience technologies. Company executives will be available for media interviews during media days, Jan. 11-12.

Energy Management

Despite many advances in technology, only about 20 percent of fuel energy is actually used to power the vehicle, while the remaining energy is simply wasted. To better manage energy, DENSO is committed to its Energy Management initiative, which is an approach to improve a vehicle's energy efficiency, which also helps improve fuel efficiency. In its main exhibit, DENSO will showcase a number of energy-efficient technologies.

Interactive Exhibit

Next to its main exhibit, DENSO will showcase a bike-like simulator, which will allow visitors to experience how the company's Energy Management technologies change the engine load. When pedaling the bike, visitors will be able to feel the difference in resistance when Energy Management is functioning and when it is not functioning.

Environment, Safety, Comfort & Convenience

DENSO will also display technologies and products focusing on the environment, safety, comfort, and convenience, such as its ejector, hybrid vehicle or remote touch controller technology.
