Renault Birmingham Hosts A Very Good Trip And New Megane Coupe Cabriolet

BIRMINGHAM, UNITED KINGDOM – June 18, 2010: Given the date, it will be no surprise to hear that staff at Renault Birmingham got all patriotic yesterday, though not out of passion for the FIFA World Cup, but for the company’s online reality show, ‘Very Good Trip’.

Having set off from a secret location in London on Monday, and since taken in the delights of Oxford and the Welsh countryside, the UK team of Angela and Richard continued their whistle-stop tour of these shores via Birmingham yesterday. During their refreshment and photos pit-stop, they drummed up further support for their bid and also showed off the striking New Mégane Coupé-Cabriolet GT to staff and intrigued onlookers.

Angela told staff, “The New Mégane Coupé-Cabriolet really has turned plenty of heads in the three days that we’ve been driving it so far. It’s hi-tech, futuristic and extremely comfortable.”

The pair could end up keeping the Mégane Coupé-Cabriolet for good, if they attract the highest number of online votes over the next few weeks.

She added: “We’re relying on Brits to get behind us between now and early July. We’re already watching our European arch-enemies in the football, so the last thing we want to do is lose national pride to the French and German teams in this challenge either!”

Facing up to the UK duo, are seven teams from Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, The Netherlands, Spain and Switzerland, as they battle it over a pan-European road trip, including up to 100 daring challenges, in the New Mégane Coupé-Cabriolet and Wind Roadster.
