I’m not political and never comment on what goes on in Ottawa. Having said you’ve got to wonder where they’re heads are at. As an incentive to clean the environment the government is offering to buy your car, that is, if it’s older than 1996. They state that these vehicles pollute more than the newer vehicles that being are offered today. These older cars do pollute more than the newer stuff, however, I’ll pass on the $300 dollars they’re offering.
     Come on guy’s any car that is emissions tested and certified is worth at least 2500 bucks. “Cash for Cars “as this campaign is called in the States, is offering up to $4500. In fact is these cars are at a premium during tough economic times. I’m sorry guy’s you blew this one. Did you know that 1 hr of running your lawnmower or weedwacker is equal to 20 hours of running your car? Uncontrolled engines live in scooters, motorcycles, snowmobiles etc.
     It’s time we start to look at these products. No industry has done a better job at cleaning up their act than the automotive industry. “Retire your Ride” is a $92 million fund available till March 2011.
