SHANGHAI--March 3, 2011: In 2010, China's automobile sales topped 18 million, again surpassing the US to keep its place as the world's largest auto market. At the same time, China has also shown its prowess in automobile production, becoming the world's largest car producer. Although the average value of Chinese vehicles is below that of more mature markets, the country's auto parts market can stand head-to head with the world's best.

Analysts believe that a rapidly increasing full-car market will give growth to a large auto parts industry. The national car industry will be looking to strengthen itself during the Twelfth Five-Year Guideline beginning this year, with the size and capacity of the market looking to further expand. However, the immense speed by which the market grew in the past few years may not last into the new year. The Chinese auto parts industry will also be forced to transform as enterprises face new challenges. What measures will these businesses take in balancing model innovation with technological advancement while maintaining their market advantage?

Gasgoo International will hold the 3rd Annual Global Auto Suppliers Industry Summit in the Shanghai International Convention Center from 21 to 22 April 2011 to discuss and further explore the topic of "Sustainable and Innovative Development for Global Auto Suppliers in the Current Chinese Automotive Market." The summit will bring together top level auto part suppliers to discuss how the industry should face new trends in the market, and what development strategies enterprises should adapt.

The summit will include keynote speeches, dialogues with OEMs, panel discussions and on-site visits. The goal remains to use these different methods to forecast and analyze China's auto market in the upcoming three years, as well as discuss sustainable development and innovation models for competing enterprises. High-level technology and finance figures from over 30 OEMs, presidents from over 100 global Tier 1 auto parts manufacturers and executives from over 30 consulting agencies and service providers have been invited to attend to discuss the impact changes in the market have on auto suppliers.

Gasgoo International is dedicated to promoting development of the auto parts industry and encouraging the research, development and financial cooperation between various suppliers and OEMs. As a world leading automotive B2B and industrial media platform, Gasgoo International has already successfully held similar summits twice. Unlike past events, the 2011 summit will focus primarily on cooperation in marketing strategy and independent research between OEMs and auto parts suppliers.

Also, for the benefit of friends within the industry, Gasgoo International will also bestow the Auto Parts OE Enterprises of 2011 Award and hold the China Auto Club event at this year's summit.
