Short February Long On D-MAX Sales

SYDNEY – March 4, 2011: Despite having a year’s fewest days, February was the best ever sales month for Isuzu Ute’s D-MAX one-tonner ute range in Australia since launching here in October 2008.

February saw 545 Isuzu D-MAX sales, up 55 per cent on February 2010, according to industry statistician VFACTS’ figures.

The top-spec LS-U 4x4 crew ute was again the most popular in the D-MAX range in which nearly 82 per cent of sales were 4x4s.

“Increasing recognition in key fleets and the continued expansion of the national network of Isuzu UTE dealers are helping to drive up D-MAX’s presence out in the market,” said Paul Vuko, general manager–sales for Isuzu Ute Australia.
